Sorry for missing last weeks blog but I was trying to get my left hip back into place after Andy Manger our warm up man had a Joe Biden moment and instructed us to put our left foot behind our left ear in a standing position! Not easy I hear you say, too bloody true!
I phoned Simone Biles and she refused to do it, not possible! Anyway onto Mondays Ruskin Arena fun. The pitches were set up in record time with Haggis, for the second week running, doing the touchline on pitch 3.
And doing a fine job too! Always good to have someone sober to do the straight lines! The games went well in the very humid conditions and we had a couple of casualties with Les the Ref and then El Presidente leaving the pitch feeling dizzy. I hope both are in good condition this morning.
Wicky also injured himself taking a shot and pulling a muscle i dont think he will be dancing for a while! Margaret was excellent all morning although at one time she tripped herself up and gracefully hit the floor! She was given an 8.5 by the watching judges!
El Presidente was sitting quietly in the stands recovering himself when a wayward clearance narrowly missed his head, nowhere is safe on a Monday when we are about! And then to the Slipper Room where there was no cake!!
Enough said, I think we may even have tried Lord Rainfords Poo cake but he wasn't around!
