Eton war cry.
Hi O'Hooligan here.
Well we all, well a few of us who are still in the country, gathered at Sutton Soccer Dome on Wednesday eager to get some game time in after being denied our Monday morning session at Ruskin!
No more Bank Holidays until Christmas now so full steam ahead! Even Jason was there at 3 minutes to 7!
The team I was picked in was massive! Giants even, we had Long John Cousins, Tall Paul (Roger Moore)and Tom Stretch Parr we won every line out and corner and every ball that was launched into our box!
Anything overhead had to be at least 6 foot 5! A very amusing event happened when Lord Rainford launched a shot into the heavens and then went into an old Etonian war cry which went something like: ‘Uck uck uck wot a load of hit!’
Not quite sure what it means but it was delivered with much gusto and facial expressions similar to the end of an All Black Haka!! I am sure he will explain all to us one day!
Lots of goals were scored and some shots were saved in a very enjoyable session played as usual in good spirits, you just can't beat it!
